BagelSMP: The Fastest Growing SMP Server
Bagel SMP opened in late July 2026 and filled up almost immediately. Survival, no land claims, and an economy the players run themselves. The IP is bagelsmp.com.

What Is BagelSMP?
BagelSMP, which you will also see written as Bagel SMP with a space, is a competitive survival SMP. No land claims, and nothing you build is protected by a plugin. If someone finds your base they can break into it, and the server will not give your stuff back.
The economy is what makes it more than a griefing free-for-all. A server shop with fixed prices, an auction house where players set their own, and buy orders where you post what you will pay and wait. Money and shards are separate currencies. It opened in late July 2026 and has been updated constantly since.
Who Owns BagelSMP?
BagelSMP is owned by KarlTheKoala and ItsWazzam. ItsWazzam is the registered owner across the major server lists. KarlTheKoala is the public face, posting videos about the server almost daily since launch.

How to Join BagelSMP
There is one address and it works everywhere. No mods, no launcher, no resource pack prompt.
- Launch Minecraft on any recent version
- Click Multiplayer, then Add Server
- Enter bagelsmp.com as the address
- Press Done, then Join Server
- Open the Servers tab, then Add Server
- Address: bagelsmp.com
- Port: 19132
- Save and join
Java and Bedrock share the same world and economy, and you spawn straight into the SMP with no lobby. Setup details are on the official BagelSMP site.

The Only Official Domains
The name gets copied, so worth being clear. The only official BagelSMP domains are bagelsmp.com and bagelsmp.org, and .org just forwards to .com. Anything else using the name is not run by KarlTheKoala or ItsWazzam, so start from bagelsmp.com before you buy a rank or click a Discord invite.
How to Make Money on BagelSMP
This is the actual game. Four routes, running from fast and low margin to slow and high margin.
/sell hand dumps what you are holding, /sell all clears your inventory. Fixed prices, instant payment. Worst margin of the four, but it never fails and it is where everyone starts.
List above shop price, or buy underpriced gear and flip it. Slots are the real constraint, so price to move rather than pricing to dream.
/orders flips it around. You post what you will pay and let sellers come to you, pocketing the spread. Best returns on the server, but you need capital sitting idle.
Everything above needs supply. Mob farms and mass block farming turn time into stock for the other three routes. Slow, compounding, and what separates the top of the leaderboard.
Most players go in that order: grind, sell for starting capital, flip once you can hold stock, then move to buy orders. Shards work differently, since voting is the reliable way to get them. KarlTheKoala's YouTube channel has money guides filmed on the server if you would rather watch than read.

What Kind of SMP Is It?
If you have played the big economy SMPs, Bagel SMP will feel familiar fast. Its own description calls it inspired by the gameplay style of Donut SMP: survival with real stakes, a dual currency economy, and trading treated as a skill rather than a side activity.
The economy is still young, so prices have not flattened and the leaderboards are reachable. You can watch it move on the BagelSMP stats page, which tracks money, shards, kills, playtime and blocks broken across the whole server.
Ranks, the Store, and Whether It Is Pay to Win
There is exactly one rank you can buy. Bagel+ runs $6.95 for 30 days and includes /hide, /fly in lobbies, faster auction buying, 45 auction slots, shard access anywhere, no /rtp cooldown, and queue priority. The BagelSMP store also sells crate keys across five tiers: Common, Prime, Gold, Amethyst and Crimson.
So is it pay to win? Somewhere in the middle, honestly. Nothing in the store gives you combat power. No netherite bundle, no in-game money, no gear you cannot get by playing. Every item has to come out of the world or off another player.
The crates make the same point, and the server says so on the wall of the crate room. Every key is obtainable free through /shop and the hourly keyall, and the sign asks people to buy only if they want to support the server.
What money buys is throughput. Forty five auction slots is a bigger trading operation, and on a server where trading is the game that compounds. You can still compete on the default rank, just in fewer slots.

The Rules, and What Counts as Fair Play
BagelSMP draws a hard line between mean and cheating, and only cheating gets you banned. Raiding, griefing and scamming another player in a trade are all fair game. Killing someone for their inventory is the point, and asking staff to reverse it will not go anywhere.
What does get you banned is hacked clients, bots, duping, and trading items for real money outside the store. Reports and appeals run through the BagelSMP Discord, which sits at over 2,200 members. Practical version: assume everyone you meet is going to rob you.
How Busy Is It?
BagelSMP averages roughly 300 to 600 players through its first month release window, with over 9,400 registered accounts and more than 2,200 Discord members. Uptime has held at effectively 100% since it opened. For a server that launched in late July 2026, that is quick.
Vote for Free Rewards, Seriously
Easiest free value on the server, and most new players skip it. A minute a day, paid in shards, the currency you cannot farm.
| Vote Site | Reward |
|---|---|
| MinecraftServers.org | +50 shards (2x) |
| Minecraft-MP.com | +25 shards |
| Minecraft-ServerList.com | +25 shards |
| Minecraft-Server-List.com | +25 shards |
| Minecraft.Buzz | +25 shards |
Hit all five in a day and you get 150 shards plus Bagel+ free for 24 hours, which means you can run the paid rank daily without paying for it. The top three voters each week take 2,500 shards. Open the BagelSMP vote page, clear all five, and you have earned a rank and a stack of shards before you have even logged in.

Should You Join?
If you want a peaceful build server, no. Nothing you make is protected and someone will eventually come for it.
If you want survival where trading is a real skill and losing a base actually stings, it is worth ten minutes. Free, latest version, Java and Bedrock from one address. Build somewhere stupid and far out, vote every day, sell the junk and hold the good stuff.
