The Gentle Light

Across the quiet desert sand,
A gentle mercy touched the land. The gentle light
An orphan child of noble grace,
With quiet truth upon his face.

When shadows wrapped the world in night,
He stood and called us to the light.
With patient heart and steady hand,
He taught the peace of faith to stand.
Though storms of hatred lashed his way,

He smiled and turned the dark to day.
A friend to poor, to weak, to all—
He answered every human call.
O Messenger of noble birth,
The truest guide upon the earth,
With every breath and humble prayer,
We send our love through peace and air.
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala ali Muhammad.
May peace and blessings be upon him, forevermore.
