MAJOR DATA BREACH > TopEaglerServers Has Failed Its Users This is serious and every person in this server deserves to know. Please share with any Eaglercraft or TopEaglerServers community you are part of.</h3> What happened: On 7 March 2026, Snelsterendier (@Snelsterendier) discovered TES left the personal data of all 27,611 registered users completely exposed. The entire database was unprotected: email addresses, usernames, admin accounts, credit balances, activity history, account IDs, and 20,564 hosted server records. Children's email addresses were included. Every person who trusted this platform was exposed. What Snelsterendier did: Reported it immediately, received confirmation from TES that it was being fixed, flagged GDPR obligations. The fix was deployed, then they went silent. They refused to: Notify any affected users Report the breach to the ICO within the required 72 hours Respond to further communication They lied about legal obligations. A team member claimed GDPR didn’t apply because "they're not European" despite their [ToS](snelsterendier.com/tes/tos) stating they are governed by UK law. Their Privacy Policy promises breach notification "in a timely manner as required by applicable laws." They haven’t done that. What this means for you: Your email was exposed. Watch for phishing. Ensure your password is unique. Request data deletion at [email protected]. A complaint has been filed and escalated to the ICO by @snugent120.
